Demand a Televised 2020 Climate Debate

Tell the DNC: We Demand a Climate Debate

Alaska is warming twice as fast as the rest of the nation. As a result of this man-made problem, over 30 Alaskan villages are facing relocation due to climate disruption. We have less than 12 years to radically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and fundamentally transform our relationship with the biosphere, which supports everything we know and love, including our very homes, communities, and way of life.

We are already losing our glaciers, our spruce forests, sea ice, and animal species. Climate disruption is costing our state hundreds of millions of dollars above normal wear and tear. Saddest of all, we are also even beginning to lose our lives. This man-made problem requires all hands on deck. The scientific debate about global warming has been over for many years. It is long overdue that our elected officials make addressing global warming the top priority.

Climate change is the biggest threat facing our nation. And it demands to be the sole focus of a nationally televised debate. Democrats must put this issue front and center. Add your name now to demand a debate focused on defeating climate change.
